Korea Trip Part 2

The next morning we woke up early and at 10am Mr Yu was there waiting for us. Su yen and Weizhi told Mr Yu the first place we wanted to go and then we were off.

First place we went was San-Gumburi Crater and the first thing that greeted us was...Dolhareubang which means stone grandfather. You will find him everywhere on the island..and i mean everywhere...Story has it that Dolhareubang was believed to protect the village and to keep evil out from Jeju. These statues takes on different faces that range from very imposing to humorous. It is rarely found anywhere else in the world. These statues are carved out of stone and hold the very image of Jeju islanders undaunted by their harsh life. (*taken from the Jeju booklet that was each given to us by Mr Yu)

Gong Gong Jeju...cute right? Just a cool guy chillin' at the side of the road

But he had to defile the very protectors of this island...hahaha

Outside the entrance to San-Gumburi crater. I think entrance fee cost 3000 wons, that's about RM10-12

The hike up the crater

The top of the crater

The slope of yellow Jeju flowers

360 view of the crater

Its quite a nice scenery but nothing really special about this place. As we were about to leave San Gumburi, Mun lin accidentally twisted her ankle...but it wasn't very very serious. Probably cos i did a hantu pose in her pic about a minute ago hahaha...I dun have the pic, its in her cam but when i get it I might upload it. The next place we went was Ilchulland. The main attraction of Ichulland is Micheon Cave.

The 2 Stage pond and the special section of Dol-Harubang

The entrance to Micheon cave

I didn't get to take many pictures of the inside of the cave so i think you got to see weizhi's blog or su yen's blog if they blog about this. However these are some of the pictures i took...

Chillin' with our cave dudes

Chillin' a bit too much...hahaha

Boss Grandfather, getting intimate with us...see the third pic with all the girls hugging him...you can nearly see him get an erection nyek nyek...

Ilchulland is quite big so there were many things to see...but mostly just normal normal stuff...

First victim of Jeju island...nice right? i think its nice >:P

The girls walked ahead of us so hup lim and I decided to take a detour and visit the cactus house.

No flowers, cactus pun boleh la...

After that we were all hungry and it was time for lunch...we went to this place where we all got a bit conned by the restaurant seeing that we were tourist...

But the food ok ler...not to bad...after lunch we were off for part 2 of Day 3...Stay tuned...
